DEAD END a Love Inspired Suspense by Lisa Phillips. A gripping story of her father who had been in prison, for killing his wife. For the daughter, who still 30 years later wants the truth..Who was this Mr Thomas, that her Mother had a brief affair with. He told great stories, and had tea with her and her mother every day. Real to her as a child, yet, nothing could be found about him. Now someone is trying to silence her.
Another great story, all will enjoy.

This book is full of non-stop suspense which never really lets up. When former CIA agent Nina Holmes tries to find answers to who killed her mother years ago, she can't begin to imagine the danger her search brings. Worst of all, anyone else she involves is also in danger. When Deputy US Marshal Wyatt Ames gets involved in the case, it quickly becomes clear that he is in danger, too. Can Nina and Wyatt work together to find the killer before anyone else gets hurt? And will Nina learn to trust her heart and open herself to find love? I had a hard time putting this book down.

Dead End is a highly suspenseful intriguing novel. Nina Holmes is retired CIA agent whose mother was murdered several years ago. Nina's father was convicted and imprisoned where he died. Nina is determined to prove his innocence. She remembers a man who had an affair with her mother when Nina was just a child who was known only as "Mr. Thomas". "Mr. Thomas" resurfaces and begins to play a very "cat and mouse" game with Nina and threatening other women and children. U.S. Marshall Wyatt Ames is actively investigating the case and wants to protect Nina, as the killer has turned more threatening and dangerous, and now both their lives are in danger, and they are falling in love. This is a very intense book which I highly recommend.

Intense, chilling, with danger around every corner this will keep you awake at night and hyper-aware of your surroundings! That’s what I call a great suspense novel. Solving the mystery of who this “Mr Thomas” is kept me guessing to the end. When the author finally reveals his identity, it sent chills down my spine, afraid for Nina & Wyatt! Always one step ahead of them, they must figure out a way to outsmart & outwit him to bring this killer to justice! A truly suspenseful read that keeps you invested, afraid and running for your life along with the characters!

This book did not make much sense. It kept jumping around a lot and we never did find out the motive involved in the whole thing. It was not the best although I enjoy this author.
Fast moving story.
Entertaining characters. I had a difficult time believing Nina was a former spy. Even so, it was an entertaining story.
Another great story by Lisa. This story has strong characters and a very strong storyline. It is intriguing, suspenseful, has mystery, struggles, and many twists and turns. The characters struggle with their faith but continue to trust God will see them through regardless of the answer. Great ending. Looking forward to Lisa's next book.
