Oh man come on Lillah needs to get her head together before she looses Ty and Carson. She shouldn't let her parents treat her and the guys like that more so the men since they were in Ty and Carson home.
Wow after the last book with their friends you wouldn't think there could be anymore drama but that's all this book is! Lilliah's parents sure do stir up alot of hard relationship questions.
This is in keeping with the series if you have read it so far by now you should be hooked and in love with the characters of this series, and well invested in whatever happens to them.
Let me begin by saying I read the first book when it was released and despite being a cliffhanger I felt it was well written and engaging. Because of the serialized nature of the story I chose not to continue. I now believe I should have stuck to my initial resolve. I completely forgot and read these. I don't know why I thought this was the entire series. It isn't.
Ty and Carson are in an established relationship when the story begins. They invite Lillah to move in with them in book eight. Book nine has her parents showing up for a surprise visit.
The reason I won't continue reading this series is because of the way the men treat her each time she faces a new hurdle. By book eight we haven't met any of the men's friends except once in passing and even then the three of them were uncomfortable. But the men turn their backs on her as she struggles to integrate them in to her world.
It's immature and childish and not worth the effort of reading any more of the series to find out how it gets resolved.
Believe me it isn't worth the time just to come across another cliffhanger with no end in sight. At least on TV you don't have to wait more than a week to find out what happens next. I stopped watching LOST on TV after two seasons when it didn't go any where.
This is a good story that has gone on too long.
I have to say I am loving this series. Book 9 does not disappoint. When Lils parents come to visit can this relationship survive? I hope so can't wait to read the next.
